The children in EYFS are enjoying learning about how to care for plants, animals and their environment.
Our allotment is growing well and the children have been planting pumpkins, carrots and lettuces. The strawberry plants are flowering so we will look forward to tasting some delicious fresh strawberries soon!
We are waiting patiently for the butterflies to emerge from their chrysalis and have been making predictions as to which will emerge first! 'Rainbow cake' is currently the favourite.
The children have also built a wormery this week. They were very excited to participate in worm chanting to encourage the worms out of the ground!
