Welcome to The Bewbush Academy. At Bewbush we value each individual child and everyone works hard to get to know each child and their individual personalities and needs.
What a day!!! Thank you so much to Dr. Catherine Kelly for teaching us so much about the seaside. The children were so excited about their findings! And…dipping their feet into the water, what a treat! Once again, thank you to @infinityfoodsw and @CrawleyTownCFhttps://t.co/Dh6Cgkvn7D
We will be running the Travelling Book Fair in school next week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 3.20-3.50. https://t.co/CxX2RWosLV
This week the @premierleague celebrated 5 years of Primary Stars 🥳
Our very own @23J0YCIE nominated @BewbushAcademy's David Leake for a 'Superstar' award because of his inspiring delivery of the primary school initiative and got this (awesome) print by @zemclarke... https://t.co/CAZmLkKSKv
After a full day of baking, sandwich making and veg cutting, our Year 5 children are ready for their day in Rottingdean. They are so excited and can’t wait to share their discoveries with you. Thank you again @infinityfoodsw@crawleytownhttps://t.co/QzkXlPEQWL
Today, some of Year 5 visited the Ifield Mill Pond to investigate what invertebrates lived there. We found lots of invertebrates such as water spiders, water shrimp, dragon fly lava and leeches, but we also came across a Pike which had managed to get stuck.Well done Year 5! https://t.co/CKQThQB56K

Today, a local artist Rachel Cowell visited us! She is working with Crawley Festival on a project called 'Let's create ». The aim of her workshop today was to create small wire figures that will become part of a large three dimensional sculpture. https://t.co/n8TdRQPl8s
In Year 4, we have created mixed-media artwork using sponge painting, ink drawing and collage. This has resulted in some fabulous creations inspired by our key artist, Julia Ogden. https://t.co/uQotQKJral
We had The BIG DIG! Some enthusiastic volunteers, along with their children, turned up to help with the hard graft. They dug all of the beds, filled them with new top soil and preserved a few of our strawberry plants from last year. A huge thank you to those who came along! https://t.co/k9xnVlvfHk
Year 5 took part in a very exciting art competition! They have been asked to paint a picture to celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee. The winners will be displayed at Gatwick airport for national and international passengers to enjoy! Flying high Year 5! Well done! https://t.co/dpC9z9woBt
WHAT A LEGEND! @BZephaniah replied to the year 5’s letter. His book and poems inspired so many children last term. It is gobsmacked and grinning that they walked home tonight with a copy of the letter to show their families. Mr. Zephaniah, thank you again, you have made their day. https://t.co/0PBQIxDigL
