Year 6 Geography- Renewable and Non-Renewable Energy
This week, Year 6 were lucky enough to be visited by Daire Casey - Energy Services Manager at West Sussex County Council. During their Geography lessons they have been learning about renewable and non renewable energy so were able to share so much information on energy with Mr Casey and he was incredibly impressed!
They measured how much solar was being generated at various locations around the school with solar panels he had brought in.
From this, they then discussed where the best locations would be to Install solar panels at our school.
It was a very enjoyable and interesting morning.
